The Salco RDS-8LR is a portable rapid deployment receiver which monitors the real time status of eight remote sensors located up to five miles away.  A built-in field strength analyzer  measures the received signal level.  Any type of sensor with a dry contact output can operate the  SALCO long-range type transmitters.  When a sensor is violated a soft audible sounds and the LED for that specific sensor flashes.
