The WZ-8PD Supervised-Wireless Interface System receives and processes the real time status of 8 remote sensors. Sensor violations are reported with independent LED's on the processor board itself or on an optional remote indicator panel. A piezo provides audible acknowledgment of violations. The WZ-8PD is suited for stand alone annunciation as well as to interface to an existing system. Eight individual relay outputs and a master relay output allow for convenient system interface. In addition, there are individual outputs for transmitter low battery and transmitter polling test failure. The WZ-PD receiver processor receives radio signals from wireless transmitters located up to 500 feet away. On receipt of a signal the optional 770-LT display and audible sound will instantly notify monitoring personnel that a violation has occurred. WZ-PD systems are available in multiples of 8 zones from 8 to 64 zones. Also available in long-range (WZ-LRM) for remote monitoring with distances up to five miles or more.

APPLICATIONS Use as wireless expansion interface or as a stand-alone. Allows remote sensor points to interface with existing hardwired security, access control, or energy management systems. Ideal where short-range wireless sensors must interface with a long-range signaling network by interfacing the output of the WZ-PD with SALCO long-range HST series transmitters. Ideal for applications requiring a high quality, reliable supervised-wireless RF link.

Optional remote annunciator panels 770-LT for the WZ-PD receiver processor provide convenient display and control from multiple locations and are available in multiples of 8 zones. Convenient on-board diagnostic LED's and controls for quick in-the-field diagnostic testing of the entire system. LED’s function also as a push-button switch for bypassing. Real time sensor activity is displayed. Keyswitch to prevent unauthorized bypassing of zones.
