WZ-PD Receiver Processor

The SALCO supervised-wireless WZ-PD receiver processor is available in multiples of 8 zones up to 64 zones.

The WZ-PD can adapt to any type of exhibit and be operational in minutes.

HUB-1

The HUB-1 can be located up to 2000 feet from the receiver processor. The HUB-1 receives wireless data from RDU-1 remote data units, decodes and transmits this information to the receiver processor via a four conductor bus. Multiple HUB-1 units can be employed to receive wireless data from one or more RDU-1.

The RDU-1 can be up to 200 feet from the HUB-1, and the SST transmitters can be up to 200 feet from the RDU-1, giving a total range of up to 2,400 feet from the receiver processor.

Optionally, the HUB-1 units can receive signals directly from SST wireless transmitters up to 200 feet away and automatically multiplex all the signals into one digital data stream.

The RDU-1 remote data unit receives wireless signals from SST transmitters up to 200 feet away, then transmits a digital signal via a shielded cable to the WZ-32PD processor up to 200 feet away, for a total wireless range of up to 400 feet. Multiple RDU-1’s can be connected to the WZ-32PD processor, limited only by the electrical noise environment and the total number of sensor identification points the WZ-32PD processor can identify.  Each RDU contains a BNC connector for the antenna input RF signal, and a test jack to measure received signal level on our Model 944 Field Strength Analyzer to test during installation and maintenance
